Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. unity celebration

果冻传媒 and the City of Toledo have partnered for 22 years to honor Dr. King鈥檚 life and mission. The annual event held on the national holiday in January features speakers, musicians, scholarship awards and more. Details about the 2024 celebration will be available as the event draws closer.

WOMXN OF COLOR SYMPOSIUM

罢丑颈蝉听annual event hosted by The Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion centers all women-identified faculty, staff, students and community members of color. The symposium focuses on the rich historical and contemporary stories of BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) womxn (cisgender, transgender and non-binary).

Inclusive Wall of Honor

The Wall of Honor recognizes the contributions of employees and alumni of the University of Toledo from underrepresented groups. These groups include, but are not limited to, racial minorities, individuals with disabilities and members of the LGBTQA+ community. A new class of inductees will be awarded bi-annually.

Land Acknowledgment Statement

An acknowledgment of the land is a formal statement that recognizes Indigenous peoples as the traditional stewards of this land and the enduring relationship that exists between Indigenous peoples and their traditional territories. Our 果冻传媒 statement may be read before public events and gatherings at the University.

HERITAGE AND HISTORY MONTHS听
